Winter in JT? Nah, but......

Snow is kind of rare, but cold is not - so let's dress right for  electric motorbike guided tours during the winter months!

Joshua Tree which is a much higher elevation than, say Palm Springs can be quite cold in the morning during the winter months, so it's important to dress appropriately for your Joshua Tree tours. We suggest layered clothing, including sturdy boots, long pants, and a warm sweater, sweatshirt, or hoodie, as good starts.

Our jackets will have liners in them, but an additional sweater is something typically desired, and perhaps also a knitted beanie cap that will fit under a helmet, will keep you comfortable.

We'll have some gloves and baklava's available if desired.

On extreme weather days, we may occasionally cancel or reschedule a tour or delay the starting time, giving the sun a bit of time to warm everything up.

Summer in Joshua Tree

Yes, it can get hot here during the summer months, as it is the high desert, after all. To ensure your safety during our guided tours, especially if you're exploring on an electric motorbike, we want you to be protected from scrapes and thorns.

We supply helmets (that are mandatory), and a high visibility safety vest. You'll need to wear proper footwear, such as hiking boots or jogging shoes (but absolutely no flip-flops or sandals). Long pants are preferable, as are long sleeve shirts. While we understand that shorts and a tank top may feel cooler, please just  be aware of the added risk for scrapes and scratches, or other injuries should you have a mishap. Also, don't forget sunscreen!

If you are heat sensitive, we suggest our early morning Joshua Tree tours, as the afternoon one's are quite a bit warmer during the summer months.

Need to cancel your tour? Fine, here are the rules.

Sure, travel changes do happen so yes, you can cancel.

If you need to cancel your tour, please contact our office at 760/285-7988, as soon as possible and we will certainly work with you based on the following cancellation policy:

As long as your cancellation is more than 72 hours in advance, we will refund you 100%. If less than 72, but more than 48 hours, we will refund you 50%. Any cancellation less than 24 hours in advance, will not be eligible for any refund due to the scheduling of guides, prep-work of bikes and equipment, and the transportation involved in facilitating these tours inside the park.

We can of course also change your tour date if that works better for you, again just give us a call.
